Arunachal Pradesh Police has invited the applications to recruit the candidates for the post of Sub Inspector (GD) and Sub Inspector (Telecommunication/WT) from male and female citizens of India. The total number of posts available is 96 which are distributed according to the different posts.

Pay Band:
The pay scale for these posts is Rs.9300/- to 34800/- with the grade pay of Rs.4200/-.
  

What is the Eligibility Criteria for Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment 2013

The eligibility criteria required for these posts is based on the following two factors:

Age Limit: The candidates’ age should be in between 20 to 25 years as on 01-01-2013. The age relaxations will be extended to 5 years for APST & SC/ST candidates as per the government rules.

Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates who are applying for the post of Sub Inspector (Civil and IRBN) must have graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
     
  • Candidates who are applying for the post of Sub Inspector (Telecommunication/WT) must have 3 years diploma in Radio or Telecommunication Engineering with minimum 2 years experience in communication organization.
The candidate requires a Bachelor Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized university.

Selection Procedure

The eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance in following fields:
  • Written Examination covering three sections which are General English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics of 100 marks each.
     
  • Physical efficiency test which includes diverse events such as 1500m race, 800m race, 100m race, high jump, long jump and chin up.
     
  • The qualified candidates will be called for Personal interview then. The interview will contain maximum 40 marks.
     
  • The final selection will be done on the basis of Medical examination/character and antecedent verification. The candidates who will qualify this test will be finally selected.

How to Apply

The applicants have to first download the application form from the website of Arunachal Pradesh Police at http://www.arunpol.nic.in/ and then they have to fill all the mandatory details in the form. There are 4 passport size photographs required, 1 attached with the form and the other 3 safely enclosed in an envelope with self signature on the backside. Also the attested copies of certificates of educational qualification, age proof, caste certificate and permanent address proof are required to be enclosed with the application form. The self addressed reply envelope affixed with postage stamp of Rs. 5/- received at P.H.Q Itanagar and challan to the given address, PHQ, Itanagar on or before 28-12-2012.

Application Fee: The application fee is Rs.60/- for the unreserved category candidates and for SC, ST candidates the application fee is Rs.15/-.
