Mahavitaran or Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company limited (MSEDCL), controlled by the government of Maharashtra is the second largest Electricity Distribution Company having over 1.96 crores consumers and a workforce of over 76,000 employees. The annual income of MSEDCL is over Rs. 34,000 crores. Mahavitaran is responsible for distribution of electricity throughout the state by purchasing power from Captive Power Plants or from State Electricity Boards and Private Sector Power Generation Companies.

What is the Eligibility Criteria for MAHAVITARAN Recruitment 2013

The eligibility criteria must be as per the following two factors:

Age Limit: The age limit is also different for different posts:

• For Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers, the maximum age limit is 35 years.
   
• For Sub Engineers and Assistant Vigilance Officer Posts, the maximum age limit is 30 years.
   
• For all the remaining posts, the maximum age limit is 40 years.

Educational Qualification: The educational qualification required for different posts is:

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of online test and personal interview. The final list of selected candidates will be seen on the online website.

Application Fee: Rs. 510 will be pay open category candidates and Rs. 260/- for paid by reserved category candidates in any Bank of Maharashtra branch.
