Guidelines for engaging Physiotherapists for 2012-13
on contract basis.
1. Eligibility Criteria: Intermediate Pass+BPT (Bachelor of Physiotheray).
2. Honorarium:
a. Rs.12,000/-p.m.
b. Rs.1,000/- TA p.m.
c. Rs.1,000/- Special Allowance to
the Physiotherapists working in Tribal areas.
3. Number of Physiotherapists
required:
@One Physiotherapist to each
IERC (responsible to cover 3 mandals) 382 (District–Wise lis enclosed) Physiotherapists.
The Physiotherapists engagement is purely temporary on constract basis for a
limited period of financial year 2012-13.

6. Notification:
A centralized
notification is given by the State Project Office, RVM (SSA), A.P, Hyderabad.

Selection procedure:
The Physiotherapists selection will be done purely
on the basis of merit (Marks obtained in BPT). Weightage will be given for those
who are possessing higher qualifications & experience with SSA as follows.
1. Applicants
having MPT qualification are eligible for 5% weightage over and above their
aggregate marks obtained in BPT.
2. Applicants
having experience with SSA are eligible for 3% weightage if they have one year
work experience with SSA and if they have more than one year of experience with
SSA they are eligible for weightage of 6% over and above the aggregate marks
obtained in BPT.
Note:- Experience will be treated as one year , if he completes at least 4 months with SSA .

3. While finalizing the
candidates, The DPO shall take care that candidates belonging to all sections
are adequately represented as peer the allocation made under the “ Rule of
Reservation & Presidential Order”. As per the Memo
No.17944/668/A2/AMPC/2007, dated.06.10.2007 of Finance (SMPC, Dept) rule of
reservation as per 100point roster prescribed in Rule of 22 of the APSSS Rules
and Presidential Order shall be followed taking district as a unit. This
process will be followed by counseling. The decision of the District Selection
Committee on the selection of the candidates shall be the final.
4. After implementing the Rule of
Reservation and exhausting other options to fill the vacancies with eligible
candidates and if some more vacancies are still remained due to non-availiability
of of eligible candidates duly following the weightage basing on the merit list
in consultation with the chairman of District Selection Committee( the same
committee constituted for selection of IITs communicated vide
Rc.No.382/RVM/IE/C5/2011, Dt.13.01.2012 will aklso act as District Selection
Committee for selection of PhysioTherapists), clearly informing to the selected
candidates that their selection against the vacancy is subject to the condition
to fill with the eligible candidates, if available at any time.
8. Allotment of Mandal:
IERCs will be allotted by way of counseling on the
basis of merit list after adding weightage.
1. Merit
list will be displayed one day before the counseling (if any doubt, may be
clarified at DPO)
2. Names
of the IERC will be displayed half an hour before the counseling specifying the
tribal IERCs deducting as IERC (T).
3. Allotment
will be done by way of counseling as per the merit list.

DPO:
The DPO
has to provide identity cards to all the selected Physiotherapists clearly
mentioning the validity period i.e., up to 31st March 2013.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PHYSIOTHERAPISTS
1. The physiotherapists have to work
with DPO under the control of MEO of that IERC Mandal. The IERC will be his/
her headquarter.
2. The timings of Physiotherapists
to provide physiotherapy shall be from 9.00AM to 4.00PM. He/ She has to work
for 3days at IERC (Mon, Wed & Fri) and for One day in each of Two Non-IERC
Mandals (Tue & Thu).
3. It shall be the job of
Physiotherapist to identify the requirements of children like Physiotherapy,
Surgeries, Appliances, Splints etc..
4. The Physiotherapists shall hold
the responsibility for the results due to the therapy given by him/ her and has
to maintain child-wise progress in the MRCs in the prescribed format supplied
to them.
5. The Physiotherapist shall invariably
hold the identity card with him/ her during the duty time. They shall affix a
copy of certificate of their professional qualification in the MRC/ IERC at a
visible place.
6. They have to prepare mandal-wise
profiles of children attending for Physio Therapy within 15 days of joining (Expenditure
will be paid @Rs.50/- per child)
7. They shall attend all the
trainings provided by RVM (SSA).
8. They shall attend the monthly
review meetings at DPO & submit the reports in the formats provided by SSA.
9. They shall follow all the
instructions of RVM (SSA) issued from time to time.
10. The RVM (SSA) will have the
right to terminate the services of the Physiotherapists at any point of time
during the contract period without assigning any reason, of found that the
performance of the Physiotherapist is not up to the mark.
